Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Republic Spot handles information related to accounts, listings, messages, moderation, security, and platform operations.
Short version
We use information to run the listing platform, publish and manage ads, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, improve performance, and meet legal or safety obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email, password-related authentication data, country, and user role.
- Listing content including titles, descriptions, images, category, city, contact options, rates, and profile details you submit.
- Support and contact messages, including name, email, topic, related listing URL, message text, IP address, and user agent.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, timestamps, security logs, and error events.
- Payment or promotion records where applicable, including transaction references and package details.
How we use information
- To create, publish, edit, moderate, and display listings.
- To provide account access, support, contact form responses, and advertiser tools.
- To detect spam, fake profiles, fraud, abuse, security threats, and policy violations.
- To improve search, city pages, performance, user experience, and platform reliability.
- To comply with applicable law, lawful requests, and platform safety obligations.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the platform, process hosting or security functions, respond to legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect users and the website.
Website analytics
The site administrator can enable or disable Google Analytics 4 for eligible public pages. When enabled, a compact choice bar lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Google Analytics does not load before you accept, and rejecting does not restrict access to the website. You can change your choice later using Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie for up to 180 days.
When you accept, our integration sends a page type and simplified page address. Ad and blog pages use numeric content IDs rather than profile names or contact details. Query strings, contact numbers, and form entries are not intentionally sent by our integration. Google may process technical information according to its own privacy terms.
Cloudflare Web Analytics may separately measure visits and performance; the site's GA4 administrator switch and analytics cookie choice do not control it. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings and contact support with privacy questions.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect platform data. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information as long as needed for account management, listings, support, safety review, legal compliance, and abuse prevention.
Your choices
- You can update many account and listing details from your dashboard.
- You can reject or accept Google Analytics cookies when the choice bar appears, and change your choice later through Cookie settings in the footer.
